E-Learning: My driving principles

Effective corporate e-learning should have the following essential elements:

• highly interactive & engaging modules
• brief ( less than 5 min per module,) users have very short attention- span when learning by themselves.
• short assessment but occurring often. The system should be able to generate new test/quiz randomly from the existing test bank data.

Safety Training

As a required training specified by OSHA, Herbalife must quickly train 8000 employees in 5 major cities in N. America. In class training will take over 5 months to execute. With e-learning option, most of the staffs were able to take the training within 2 weeks after the course was made available on the company Cornerstone LMS.

Every Guest Every Time Module

The objective of this introductory ( 1 of 3 ) module is to improve the servers/waiters quality of services. The main purpose is to present the key features (Articulate Storyline2) and advance animation (Adobe Animate CC 2) being implemented in the project.

Features

• Generous application of Adobe Animate CC animation to make topic more interesting.
• "Find the signs of Detection" has been re built to be more visually interesting and include more interactivity.
• " Journey Map" bring the lobby map into 'live' , with sequential fun animation showing each stages of guests' experience. ( the artwork are also reused for gamification exercise, to provide 2nd round experience.

Burger Interactive Menu+ Upsell list

This is somewhat basic e-learning module for the Burger menu. We tried to encourage interaction from learners by breaking the materials into smaller sections, so they can explore at their own pace.

Island Theme -Navigation menu:

To alleviate the stress from taking the tough quiz, we came up with a fun Carribean island theme.. as to symbolize the waiters' journey to reach the goal - the treasure island of knowledge. The feedback had been very positive and the passing score percentage had increased by 10% from the previous format. All animations were created using multiple tools: Photoshop/Illustrator then animated in Adobe Animate CC 2017

The Waiter Game/Exercise:

Developed in Adobe Animate CC 2017, using external JQuery and Bootstrap + javascript library ( optimize for tablet play.)
